Our Services
We offer a variety of family-based programs to support children and parents in managing emotional and behavioral challenges, including interventions for oppositional behaviors, anxiety, and teenage relationships.
They focus on building positive family dynamics, enhancing communication, and using evidence-based strategies to promote children's emotional well-being and self-regulation.
Behaviour Support Programme
This programme is a family-based treatment for children presenting with oppositional behaviour. It’s evidence base background, stems from social learning theories, attachment theories and behavioural theories, from parenting research. The overall aim of this programme is to support and guide parents/ carers to positively manage these challenges and build a positive family relationship. We will work together to understand common parent traps and reinforce positive behaviour management strategies to overcome negative cycles of behaviour. This will enable the child’s self-confidence to grow in their understanding of their emotional needs and will then have positive impact on their self- regulation of behaviour.
Anxiety Programme
Our Anxiety programme is a parenting-based approach to managing anxiety in primary school aged children. It is based on evidence that anxious children benefit from a parenting style that is clear, calm, and consistent whilst being sympathetic to the symptoms that children feel because of anxiety. The sessions will offer practical tips and advice on strategies that parents can do to help their child cope with their anxiety and overcome challenges they face. This Programme can be carried out as a group or 1:1, with parents/ carers.
Drawing and Talking Therapy is an attachment-based therapeutic intervention. It’s an opportunity to provide a safe place to support children to discover and communicate their thoughts and feelings, in a non-intrusive therapeutic way. This intervention will help support children to process and heal from anxiety, trauma and emotional difficulties. They will find their own resolutions to their personal challenges whilst building on their self-esteem to allow them to thrive in the world around them.
